LAHORE: Shafiqabad police have arrested several suspects accused of kidnapping and torturing a man. The officials rushed to the scene after receiving information that a citizen had allegedly been subjected to severe physical abuse, during which his sensitive body parts were also targeted.Initial findings suggest that the suspects accused the victim of maintaining contact with a married woman and allegedly set up their own ‘court’ before subjecting him to violence.
Gang leader detained
Dolphin Squad personnel have arrested an alleged gang leader accused of involvement in dozens of street crimes.The suspect, identified as Idrees alias ‘Kodu’ was apprehended during an intelligence-based operation conducted on Shalimar Road.Police said the accused was wanted in cases involving robbery, theft, snatching and gang-related criminal activities.
