GILGIT: Chief Election Commissioner (CE1C) of Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan heard on Sunday several election petitions and review applications related to different constituencies.
According to a press release, after the parties completed their arguments, decisions in multiple cases were reserved.
In constituency GBA-13 Astore-I, hearing on review petition filed by Farman Ali, nominated candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N), was completed and verdict reserved.
In the same constituency, application filed by Major (R) Fahad Hanif, nominated candidate of Pakistan People’s Party, seeking re-polling was also heard. After hearing arguments from all parties, decision was reserved.
The hearing on an application filed by independent candidate Shahida Khurshid, seeking re-polling at eight polling stations in GBA-13 Astore-I was completed.
