Karachi lacks clearly marked no-parking zones in many areas such as Nazimabad, Bolton Market, Saddar and Liaquatabad, leaving citizens unaware of where parking is prohibited. As a result, vehicles are often towed despite the absence of proper signs or guidance.
The municipal authorities should install clear parking signs and introduce a mobile app showing areas where parking is not allowed. This would reduce confusion, prevent unnecessary towing and improve traffic management.
