PTI forms appellate board for AJK polls

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Thursday formed an 11-member appellate board for the upcoming elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a notification issued here, PTI Chairman Barristr Gohar Ali Khan and Secretary General of the party Salman Akram Raja have nominated the following people as the Appellate Board for Azad Jammu and Kashmir upcoming elections.

The board will start function from today (Thursday) and complete its job 96 hours before the deadline for finalisation of the candidates who would be supported by PTI or be asked to contest on the designated parties symbol.

The board members include: Ahmed Chatta, Ali Amin Gandapur, Ali Bukhari, Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar Khan, Firdous Naqvi, Khalid Khurseed, Niazullah Niazi, Saifullah Khan Nyazee, Salman Akram Raja and Shahid Khattak.
