Islamabad: Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday directed Pakistan Post to prepare a realistic restructuring and business plan within three months to improve its financial performance and achieve self-sufficiency.
Chairing a high-level meeting during his visit to the Directorate General of Pakistan Post, the minister reviewed the organization’’s operational performance, financial health and future strategy, according to a press release.
Addressing senior officials, the Minister emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive reforms, restructuring, and modernization.He directed Pakistan Post to formulate a practical 3-year business plan aimed at achieving financial self-sufficiency and reducing the burden on the national exchequer.
