LAHORE:The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has introduced a new framework for its Directorate of Postgraduate Studies to strengthen quality assurance, residency training, academic governance and digital monitoring of postgraduate programmes across Punjab.
The decision was taken during a visit of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ahsan Waheed Rathore to the directorate, where he reviewed its academic and administrative operations and met with staff members. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nadia Naseem and Director Postgraduate Studies Prof Dr Asif Naveed accompanied him during the visit. Under the new framework, the directorate has been renamed as the 'Directorate of Postgraduate Education and Residency Programmes (DPERP)' to reflect its expanded role in postgraduate education, residency training and academic oversight.
