RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists belonging to Indian sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the night of June 3 and 4.
On reported presence of Khwarij, an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said.
During conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and after intense exchange of fire, two terrorists, belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij, were killed. Another IBO was conducted by security forces in Mohmand District. In ensuing engagement, two more Khwarij were effectively neutralised. Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the killed Indian sponsored Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
