ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued orders regarding appointments, transfers, reinstatements and extensions of tenure for officers serving in various ministries, divisions and institutions.
The services of Umar Farooq Rana, Deputy Director General of Pakistan Sports Board, have been placed back at the disposal of Federal Ministry of National Health Services.
Hafiz Syed Faheem Hussain Shah, Deputy Director (Research) in the Ministry of Water Resources, has been transferred and his services returned to his parent department, Allama Iqbal Open University. Suspended Section Officer Asad Ali Chaudhry (OMG, Grade-17) has been reinstated. He had been suspended on March 24, 2026.
The tenure of Saba Javed, a Section Officer serving in Finance Division, has been extended for an additional two years.
Fareed Khan, currently serving in Coastal Development Authority Balochistan, has been appointed on deputation as Assistant Director in Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Balochistan Region, for a period of three years.
