LAHORE:The Punjab University Department of Social Work, in collaboration with Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, has successfully completed an international academic project under which students participated in two virtual courses.
The initiative was led by Associate Professor Dr Sonia Omer and provided students with international academic exposure and learning opportunities through a US university.As part of the programme, students attended live classes conducted in the United States, enabling them to interact with international faculty members and students while experiencing a global learning environment in real time.Upon successful completion of the courses, the participating students were awarded certificates by the host institution.
The project was launched with the approval of the relevant university authorities and reflects the department’s commitment to promoting international academic collaboration and enriching students’ educational experiences.
