LAHORE:Secretary Auqaf Ehsan Bhutta and Lahore Development Authority DG Tahir Farooq visited Data Darbar Extension Project and reviewed the development work here on Wednesday. Secretary Auqaf Ehsan Bhutta also reviewed the finishing work of the parking area, pedestrian underpass.
Lahore Development Authority DG also visited BhatiChowk Underpass and Railway Station projects. He said millions of vehicles will benefit from the construction of BhatiChowk Underpass every day.
Work on BhatiChowk Underpass is continuing day and night without interruption, he added. Lahore Development Authority Chief Engineer Israr Saeed and Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain gave briefings and said that work was underway on all aspects of the Data Darbar Extension Project simultaneously.
LDA DG gave a briefing on the progress of the development works and said that the completion of the development works will provide great convenience to the residents and visitors of Data Darbar and adjacent areas.
Overall, 73 percent of the work of the Data Darbar Extension Project has been completed. Lahore Development Authority DG directed to regularly monitor the progress report of both shifts of development works on underpass. He reviewed the finishing works of parking area in front of railway station and also inspected the beautification works on railway wall, AikMoria, Do Moria bridges. Lahore Development Authority DG directed to complete the finishing works soon. He also reviewed the works on the facade of the property from railway station to circular road.
