Healthcare is a basic human right, yet many people face discrimination because of their financial status. In some hospitals, wealthy patients receive quicker attention and better facilities, while poor patients may experience delays or limited treatment. Such discrimination creates inequality and can put lives at risk. Medical care should be provided based on need rather than a person’s ability to pay.
Governments and healthcare institutions must ensure equal access to quality treatment for all citizens. A fair healthcare system promotes social justice, protects human dignity and helps build a healthier and more compassionate society.
