Eidul Azha has gone but the people of Karachi are still left to endure the stench and filth of sacrificial animal offal that has now started to pose serious health issues. Many areas continue to be littered with rotting offals even on the sixth day after Eid in Ward-2, Abbas Town UC, Safoora Town. This failure reflects inefficiency and a serious lack of accountability and concern for public welfare.
When the concerned officials were contacted, the complaints were met mostly with silence despite specific information and location details being provided. The relevant authorities must take immediate notice of this negligence and hold accountable those officials who failed to respond to legitimate public complaints in a timely manner.
