Child health and vaccination are among the most critical issues in ensuring a healthy future for Pakistan’s next generation. Vaccination protects children from dangerous diseases, yet many parents across the country still do not vaccinate their children due to ignorance, poverty, misinformation and false beliefs. A major obstacle remains the myths surrounding polio drops. Some parents believe vaccines are harmful or unnecessary, while others refuse vaccination due to misinformation spread through social media. The government should strengthen awareness campaigns through schools, hospitals, mosques, television and social media. Free vaccination centres and mobile polio teams must reach every area. A few drops of polio vaccine can save a child from lifelong paralysis. The government and society must work together to make Pakistan completely polio-free and secure a healthy future for every child.
