LAHORE : The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in collaboration with private pharmaceutical company and laboratory arranged 6th annual free Veterinary Medical Treatment Camp for sacrificial animals at Outdoor Hospital, City Campus from May 21 to 29, 2026.
A total of 1,458 animals, including 1,404 sheep and goat and 54 large animals (oxen, camel) have been successfully treated with free medication during the camp.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani along with Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Chairman Department of Veterinary Medicine Prof Dr M Ijaz, Incharge Outdoor Hospital Dr Jaweria Ali Khan inaugurated free camp. The owners of animals lauded the treatment services of UVAS.
