LAHORE : Punjab Youth Affairs and Sports Department’s Capacity Building Programme batch 2 and Level One course concluded with a closing ceremony held at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP).
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman was the chief guest on this occasion. DG Sports Punjab M Tariq Qureshi, Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Dr. Asad Abbas and Dr. Ijaz Asghar were also present on this occasion. They also distributed certificates among the coaches.
Addressing the ceremony, Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman said that 35 coaches of Punjab were trained for 17 days at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab. “Training of sports officers and coaches is part of our Annual Sports Calendar program”.
He said that now the trained coaches should go to the field and train the players. “The top level training has been arranged to equip our coaches with modern techniques and developments”.
He further said that Capacity Building Programme is very important for the bright future of sports. “The participation in the Capacity building Programme is mandatory for every field officer once a year”.
