LAHORE : Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has issued new timings for clean drinking water supply in the provincial capital after the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
According to the new schedule, water will be provided to citizens at three different times daily. Wasa officials said that the first period of water supply will be from 5.00am to 9.00am, the second period was fixed from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and the third and last shift, water supply will continue from 5.00pm to 9.00pm.
Officials said that water will be provided for a total of 9 hours daily through more than 600 tube wells of Wasa across the city to meet the needs of citizens.
Wasa has appealed to citizens to be careful in using water and avoid wasting this precious resource so that uninterrupted water supply can be ensured in all areas.
