LAHORE : Investigation Police, on the directions of Syed Zeeshan Raza, conducted a large-scale crackdown against proclaimed offenders during the Eid holidays.

Police teams from various stations arrested 133 proclaimed offenders wanted in cases including murder, robbery, breach of trust, and cheque dishonour. The arrested individuals included 4 from Category A and 129 from Category B.

According to the police, several of those arrested in serious cases had been absconding for years. Cases were also registered against individuals who provided shelter to offenders.

The arrests were made using professional expertise and human intelligence. Authorities stated that, with the support of prosecution, efforts will be made to ensure convictions of the arrested individuals. Zeeshan Raza said the crackdown against proclaimed offenders will continue without discrimination.

Meanwhile, M Naveed announced commendation certificates for investigation teams of Raiwind City, Chung, Township, and Ghaziabad police stations for their performance.
