The most powerful institutions of a society must be independent and financially strong. However, in this country, the salary of a policeman is often very low. How is it possible for a police officer to survive or take care of his/her family on a monthly salary?
This leaves law enforcement more vulnerable to bribery and corruption. Police should be given good compensation and other facilities such as medical benefits. This will make them less prone to corruption and help ensure that they work for the betterment of the people and their safety.
