TOBA TEK SINGH: A man allegedly killed his married daughter for honour at Chak 734/GB, Pirmahal tehsil.
According to police, Rukhsana Perveen, wife of Arshad, had eloped with a man from her village around 20 days ago. She was later brought back to her parents’ home through a panchayat. On Thursday night, the woman was asleep at her residence when her father Zawar Hussain allegedly attacked and killed her with the blows of a sharp-edged weapon. Bhussi police are conducting raids to arrest the suspect.
