Islamabad: Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rahman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation (AKF) Pakistan, expressed solidarity with children and refugees affected by the Gaza war on the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and celebrated Eid with them in Egypt.

Dr. Atif Hafeez Siddiqui, President of the Pakistan Medical Association (PIMA), along with representatives of Alkhidmat Norway, also participated in this important visit. After offering Eid prayers at the central mosque in the Rahab area of Egypt, the delegation visited slaughterhouses established in strategic regions near the Gaza border, including the cities of Ras Gharib and Nubaria. The President of Alkhidmat personally sacrificed a ram to inaugurate the Qurbani Project for the people of Gaza.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the arrangements for the ongoing Qurbani campaign for Gaza, including meat preparation, packaging, and its safe transportation, and expressed satisfaction with the overall process.

Dr. Hafeezur Rahman also met orphaned children, widows, and war-affected refugee families from Gaza who are being supported by Alkhidmat Foundation in Egypt. On this occasion, sacrificial meat was distributed among the affected families, while children received Eid gifts and special presents. The warmth and care shown during Eid brought smiles back to the faces of innocent children and widows.

Later, a special luncheon was organized for orphaned children and Gaza refugees. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman said that, as always, the people of Pakistan have demonstrated their unwavering love and solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters by dedicating their sacrifices to them. He stated that Alkhidmat Foundation is delivering these trusts of the Pakistani people to the affected residents of Gaza with complete transparency and responsibility.

Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman reaffirmed Alkhidmat Foundation’s commitment to continuing its efforts at every level to support the rehabilitation of Gaza’s innocent children and affected families and to bring happiness back into their lives.
