Street crime has become a major concern in Karachi and is affecting the daily lives of citizens. Incidents of mobile snatching, robbery, theft and harassment are increasing rapidly, creating fear and insecurity among the public. Many people now feel unsafe while traveling to work, schools and markets, especially during the evening hours.
The growing crime rate not only threatens public safety but also damages the image and peace of the city. Strict law enforcement, increased police patrolling and improved surveillance systems are necessary to control this situation. Citizens should also remain alert and cooperate with authorities to help reduce criminal activities.
