Women and girls are facing online harassment every day. Fake accounts, abusive messages, blackmail and leaked pictures have become common on social media. Many victims stay silent because they fear being judged or blamed. This problem is growing fast in Pakistan, especially among students and young women who use the internet for study and communication. This issue affects daily life badly. Many girls stop posting online or even delete their accounts. Some avoid online classes or public discussions because of fear. Families also become worried about their daughters using social media. Mental stress, fear and lack of confidence are becoming serious problems for many women. The government and social media companies must take stronger action. Strict laws, quick reporting systems and digital awareness are badly needed. Women deserve safety online just like they deserve safety outside. Silence is helping the criminals grow stronger.
