Women are the backbone of every society. They play a vital role in raising families, educating children and contributing to the progress of a nation. However, despite their importance, many women in Pakistan continue to face violence, discrimination and injustice. Although the constitution provides equal rights to women, the reality remains painful for many.
According to international reports, Pakistan still ranks among countries facing serious gender inequality. Human rights organisations have repeatedly called for stronger action to protect women and ensure justice for victims. Strict laws should be implemented, awareness should be increased and girls should be empowered through education. By protecting women’s rights, Pakistan can ensure a safer, more prosperous and brighter futrure for its people.
