LAHORE : A suspect allegedly involved in serious criminal activities was arrested in injured condition during an operation conducted by Crime Control Department (CCD) in Shahdara.
According to police, 26-year-old suspect, identified as Ali Hamza, was travelling on a motorcycle with an accomplice when CCD personnel attempted to intercept them. Officials said the suspects lost control of their motorcycle during the attempt to stop them, resulting in a collision with a footpath.
As a result, Ali Hamza sustained injuries and was taken into custody. His accomplice managed to escape from the scene, while a search operation has been launched to trace him.
The injured suspect has been shifted to Lahore Mayo Hospital Lahore for medical treatment under police custody.
