LAHORE : Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has said the Punjab govt’s journey to serve the suffering humanity is continuing and on the instructions of CM Punjab, two patients from Chilas district are being brought to Lahore for kidney treatment.
Twelve-year-old Sanaullah and 14-year-old Attaullah, sons of Sabir Hussain, belonging to village Satnian of Tehsil and District Chilas are suffering from hereditary kidney disease.
Both the patients are being shifted to Children’s Hospital Lahore. Khawaja Salman said two ambulances of Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi are currently present in the Kohistan area in this regard.
The ambulances will reach RHQ Hospital Chilas and receive the patients. Secretary Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Azmat Mahmood said the patients will be shifted to Lahore under special medical supervision. We are in touch with the Deputy Commissioner Diamer regarding the transfer of the patients, he added.
