Rawalpindi: The Government of Pakistan is celebrating the year 2026 as the commemorative year of Pakistan-China friendship. In this connection, Stamp and Coin Design Competitions were organized at district, divisional, and provincial levels across the country.
It is a matter of great pride for Government Khadija Umar Associate College that the college student, Angelina Qayyum (First Year), demonstrated exceptional creativity and talent by securing first position in the Stamp Design Competition at the district, divisional, and provincial levels.
To honour this remarkable achievement, a dignified ceremony was organised at the college. Director Colleges Rawalpindi Division, Amjad Iqbal Khattak, attended the event as the Chief Guest and presented the successful student with an honorary shield and a special prize.
Addressing the ceremony, Khattak stated that Angelina Qayyum’s success is a practical reflection of hard work, creative thinking, and the excellent guidance of teachers. He described her achievement as a source of pride for the institution and the entire Rawalpindi Division.
Principal Dr. Asma Zafar congratulated the student and expressed hope that she would continue to bring honour to the institution and the country through her talent and dedication in the future as well.
