Four people were injured after a clash near the Saddar Quetta bus stop in the Preedy Police Station area escalated into firing on Tuesday.

According to police, a dispute erupted after stones were allegedly pelted at the bus terminal, following which one group opened fire with automatic weapons, triggering panic in the area. Witnesses said people ran for safety as the gunmen fled in two black-and-white vehicles. Videos of the incident later went viral on social media.

The injured were identified as 10-year-old Allah Muhammad, 14-year-old Hazrat Bilal, 16-year-old Ehsanullah, and 25-year-old Syed Rasool. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

SHO Ayub Mirani said a man identified as Juma Pathan had set up a table outside the office of Al-Imdad Coach Service. Staff members of the coach service reportedly asked him to remove it, leading to an argument.

Police said security guards associated with the coach service allegedly opened fire during the altercation, injuring four bystanders at the terminal. The armed guards later fled the scene in a black-and-white Vigo vehicle, while Juma Pathan also escaped.

According to police, the owner of the coach terminal is Haji Imtiaz. Investigators said efforts were underway to arrest the suspects and determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
