A three-year-old child was killed while another was injured after a warehouse wall collapsed in the Noor Khan Goth area of Sohrab Goth on Monday.
According to police, the incident took place near Street No 1 in Noor Khan Goth within the jurisdiction of the Sohrab Goth police station, when a weak wall of a warehouse suddenly collapsed on two children who were playing in the street.
Rescue officials shifted both children to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased was identified as three-year-old Safiullah, son of Salman, while the injured boy was identified as 12-year-old Usman, son of Nadeem. The police said Safiullah died on the spot after sustaining severe head injuries, while Usman suffered injuries in the incident. Both children were residents of Noor Khan Goth.
