BANNU: A transgender person was stabbed to death for unknown reasons in Bannu.The incident occurred late Sunday night in the Kati Bagh area in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station in Bannu, where the transgender person was allegedly stabbed to death.
According to police, the victim, identified as Muskan alias Deewani, was killed after being attacked repeatedly with knives.Upon receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital Bannu for medico-legal formalities.
The police officials said the deceased belonged to Peshawar district, while preliminary investigations suggested that the accused managed to flee the scene after committing the crime.According to police, the actual motive behind the murder had not yet been determined; however, investigations were underway and raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.
