Last week, the entire nation celebrated the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, marking the victory over India and sending a powerful message of unity, patriotism and national strength to the world. The celebrations reflected the spirit of patriotism and demonstrated that the people of Pakistan are always ready to defend their country. In my personal opinion, political differences may exist, but when it comes to Pakistan’s security and integrity, all divisions should be set aside. While criticism of policies and systems is a democratic right, the entire nation must stand united with the state and the armed forces whenever the country’s sovereignty is at stake.
