LAHORE : The Punjab government has issued orders for the transfer and posting of four Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs).
According to the notification, M Abdul Qadir Qamar has been appointed as DIG Establishment-I, while Dr Suleman Sultan Rana has been posted as DIG Establishment-II.
Zeeshan Asghar has been appointed as Commandant of the Police Intelligence School. Meanwhile, Mehboob Rashid Mian has been designated as DIG Welfare and Finance.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Police has issued a notification announcing multiple transfers and postings of officers with immediate effect. According to Notification No. 53/2026/PS/HQ, Faisal Shahzad (PSP/BS-19) has been transferred from SSP, Police School of Intelligence Lahore, and posted as AIG Logistics, CPO Punjab, Lahore, replacing M Abdullah Lak. Lak has been directed to report to the Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Lahore, under transfer to the National Police Academy, Islamabad.
M Rashid (PSP/BS-19) has been posted as SSP/RO, CTD Lahore, while Capt (retd) Wahid Mehmood has been moved to the Central Police Office, Punjab, Lahore.
Ahmad Nawaz Shah (PSP/BS-19) has been posted as SSP Investigation Faisalabad, replacing Shahid Ahmad Khan, who has been posted as SP Survey, Special Branch Punjab, Lahore.
Hassan Jahangir (PSP/BS-18), previously awaiting posting, has been appointed as SSP CCD Rawalpindi Region under Section-9 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974. Ms Beenish Fatima (PSP/BS-18) has been posted as SP Operations-DIC3, Chakwal.
Hafiz M Imtiaz Ahmad (BS-18) has been posted as SP Investigation Gujrat, while M Riaz Naz (PSP/BS-18) has been transferred to SP Investigation Mianwali. Azhar Saeed (BS-18) has been posted as SP Investigation Hafizabad, replacing Tanveer Ahmad Malik, who has been directed to report to CPO Punjab, Lahore.
Akhtar Ali (PP/BS-18) has been transferred to Additional SP Jaranwala Division, Faisalabad, while M Khan (PP/BS-18) has been posted as Additional SP Sadar Division, Gujranwala.
Syed Mehmood-ul-Hassan (Legal/BS-18) has been appointed as SP Security-II, Security Division and Liaison Officer/Coordinator, Lahore High Court, Lahore.
The notification states that all transfers and postings take effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
