WASA organises ‘Battle of Truth’ walk

Rawalpindi: To celebrate the completion of one year of the glorious victory of the Battle of Truth, WASA Rawalpindi organised a special walk in which a large number of WASA officers and staff, including Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi Azizullah Khan, Director Admin Umar Farooq, Director Finance and Revenue Tahir Bashir, participated. The participants raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Army Zindabad.

A grand rally also taken out in favor of Pak Army from the office of the Municipal Corporation, Rawalpindi to the Press Club, LIaquat Bagh. The rally was organized by Chief Officer (MCR) Imran Ali, former Mayor Sardar Naseem, Fakhar Warraich, Raja Haroon Rashid and others. Similarly, all government and private organizations also organized special programs for ‘Battle of Truth’ celebrations. The PHA Managing Director Ahmed Hasan Ranjha and local administration Rawalpindi has also organized a pompous concert held here at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in which famous singers Farhan Saeed and Mustafa Zahis performed.

Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi Azizullah Khan said on this occasion that the people and the armed forces of Pakistan are connected by a strong bond that cannot be separated in any way. A strong army is the guarantor of peace and as a result of the effective and vigorous action of the Pakistani forces, India has been forced to cease fire. In the battle for justice, Pakistan gave a befitting reply to an enemy many times bigger than itself and crushed its pride. In the future, it will think a hundred times before looking at the Holy Land.

MD WASA said on this occasion that after Pakistan's victory in this battle, the dream of Indian supremacy in the region has been shattered and India has had to bear defeat and shame at the global level.

MD WASA said on this occasion that he stressed for the resolution of the Kashmir issue so that a permanent and lasting peace can be established between Pakistan and India and the Kashmiris are given their right to self-determination in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

MD WASA reiterated the resolve that the people and The Pakistani armed forces are always ready to defend the homeland and will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the security of the country. In the future, Indian aggression will be responded to with full force.
