KARACHI: Geo TV and 7th Sky Entertainment’s new drama serial “Malkiyat” is set to premiere on Geo TV from Friday, May 9.
The drama has been written by Iram Wasi and Saima Wasi. The story revolves around how an unfortunate incident turns the life of the central character, Soha, into a difficult test.
Directed by Ali Akbar, the drama also explores whether a stubborn and self-centered man like Zaviar will eventually be consumed by restlessness and regret. Viewers can expect several gripping twists throughout the story. The cast includes Maya Khan, Humaira Bano, Neha Khan, Faiza Gillani, Kamran Jilani, Faiza Khan, Anisha Altaf, Shazia Gohar, Javed Jamal, Naveed Raza, Yasir Shoro and other supporting artists.
The chemistry between Mohsin Abbas Haider and Sania Shamshad will also keep audiences intrigued as the story unfolds and reveals whether reconciliation finds its way into their relationship.
The drama’s OST, written by S.K. Khalish and sung and composed by Shani Arshad, beautifully captures the emotion of pain and longing. Producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi present a compelling tale that transforms arrogance into remorse while highlighting the true value of love.
Viewers can watch “Malkiyat” daily at 9:00 PM on Geo TV starting this Saturday night.
