Islamabad: In a ceremony held here at the UNI International-China Pakistan Deep Love Cultural Exploration Center, dignitaries and guests gathered to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, two all-weather strategic partners.
The event, organised jointly by the China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC) Pakistan Branch, UNI International, and the All Pakistan China Friendship Association, provided a platform to reflect on decades of diplomatic achievements, foster cultural understanding, and reaffirm the enduring friendship between the two nations.
According to a Gwadar Pro’s report, on the occasion, Chief Guest former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf shared moving diplomatic stories regarding the evolution of China-Pakistan friendship, recalling historical moments of mutual support and solidarity.
He spoke of how the relationship had weathered regional and global changes, emerging stronger with each passing decade, and urged the younger generation to carry forward this legacy of trust and cooperation.
A core segment of the event focused on the tangible successes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and broader infrastructure development under bilateral cooperation. The CSCEC Pakistan team highlighted several landmark projects completed over the past two decades that have transformed Pakistan’s infrastructure landscape. These included the PKM Motorway (Sukkur-Multan section), the Islamabad International Airport and the Centaurus project.
