Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an open court at his office to directly address public grievances and issued immediate directives to resolve the complaints brought forward by citizens.
Speaking during the open court, DIG Tariq emphasised that citizens can also utilise the ‘IGP Complaint Cell 1715’ to register their issues. He noted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has strictly instructed all senior police officers to organize regular open courts throughout the district to bridge the gap between the public and law enforcement.
In compliance with these directives, all zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are currently conducting open courts within their respective jurisdictions. DIG Tariq reiterated that the Islamabad Police remain dedicated to proactively reaching out to the public and handling their concerns efficiently.
