Gold prices down Rs2,700 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs2,700 per tola in the local market on Friday following a decline in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs494,062 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs2,315 to Rs423,578.Gold rates decreased by $27 to $4,717 per ounce in the international market. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.

Silver rates, however, increased by Rs80 to Rs8,525 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also increased by Rs68 to Rs7,308.
