There is an urgent need for the construction of an overhead crossing for students near schools and libraries in Hyderabad. Every day, a large number of students face serious difficulties while crossing the busy road to reach these places. Due to the heavy flow of traffic, students are often forced to wait for 20 to 30 minutes just to safely cross the road.
This situation is not only inconvenient but also highly dangerous. Fast moving vehicles, continuous traffic and the absence of a proper pedestrian crossing create a major risk for students, especially during school and college hours. An overpass or pedestrian bridge would greatly help in ensuring the safety of students and other pedestrians.
