Iranian CG lauds Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace, calls for strengthening trade ties

KARACHI: Iranian Consul General in Karachi Akbar Eissa Zadeh has said Iran’s exports have been normal for the past two months despite the US naval blockade of Iran.

“The goal of this naval blockade is to stop all of Iran’s exports and imports, especially petroleum exports, but thanks to Allah this could not happen and Iran’s exports have been normal for the past two months,” he said while talking with a delegation of leaders and prominent scholars from various Shia organisations.

He said such a blockade is also considered an aggression at the international level. He said the Iranian nation has decided to defend its sovereignty and homeland against this aggression of the enemy country, by supporting the supreme leader and its government, and by utilizing all the country’s defense capabilities.

Akbar Eissa Zadeh expressed gratitude for the Pakistani government and the people and said that since the start of the unjustified American and Israeli aggression against Iran, our Pakistani

brothers have set a new example of selflessness, sacrifice, sincerity and love.

He said the Pakistani nation has proved by organizing rallies, seminars and condolence references in favour of Iran that the centuries-old relations between these two nations are becoming stronger.

The Iranian consul general appreciated the efforts of the Pakistani government to maintain peace and order in the region and stressed the strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

He said economic relations can be further strengthened by utilizing the 900-kilometer border area between Pakistan and Iran and the ports of both countries.

The delegation visited the Iranian Consulate in Karachi to pay tribute to Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei and renew their pledge with Ayatollah Seyyed Mujtaba Khamenei.

During a meeting with the Iranian consul general, the participants of delegation recited Fateha and expressed their heartfelt feelings and emotions.

The scholars present in the delegation said Muslims all over the world are uniting and this exemplary unity is the fruit

of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

They said the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has unleashed a new wave of steadfastness and perseverance in the entire Islamic world.

Senator Allama Raja Nasser Abbas Jafari, founder of the Tehreek-e-Bedari-e-Ummat-e-Mustafa, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, Central President of the Imamia Students Organization, Syed Amin Shirazi, leader of the Shiites of Gilgit, Allama Syed Rahat Hussain Al-Hussaini and other prominent scholars were included in the delegation.
