Dignified assistance delivery to beneficiaries top priority

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmed Shah has said that under the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, ensuring that beneficiaries receive their due rights with dignity and respect through a digital system is the government’s foremost priority.

He added that the government was undertaking historic initiatives in the health and social protection sectors to serve humanity.

He expressed these views while speaking during a visit to the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) offices in Kasur on Monday.

The minister stated that the government is actively implementing historic measures in the health and social protection sectors to serve underprivileged segments of society.

He described the national poverty alleviation program as a new chapter in the country’s economic history and reaffirmed that the government will not abandon deserving individuals and will continue providing financial assistance.

The minister further said that modern facilitation centers have been established under the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, where deserving patients are being provided comprehensive medical facilities under one roof.
