While exams are meant to provide equal opportunities to all students, the current situation highlights a clear imbalance. Many students from Kech, Balochistan are facing significant difficulties in reaching the examination centre due to blocked roads and challenging travel conditions. Kech is a remote area where transportation is already limited, expensive and often risky. The sudden blockage of roads has made the journey to Quetta even more uncertain. For many candidates, this is a barrier that may prevent them from appearing in the exam altogether. Moreover, the issue is not only about distance but also about fairness. Students from urban areas usually have easier access to examination centres, while those from remote regions must struggle against geographical and infrastructural challenges.
This creates inequality in a system that is supposed to be merit-based. Every student deserves a fair chance to compete, regardless of where they live. The authorities should take immediate steps to address this issue by establishing a local examination centre/s for students in the rural areas of Kech. A small decision like this can bring great relief to many deserving candidates and help them to achieve their goals.

Lack of education in Balochistan is a serious issue. Many people, especially small children, are facing difficulties in getting an education. In some areas, there are not enough schools and educational facilities. Because of this, children and people are unable to receive proper education and build a good future. We should take care of this issue, because education is the backbone of our future. Without it, it will be very hard for Pakistan to make any progress and meet its development goals.
