I am writing to highlight the importance of elevators in hospitals and the need for their proper maintenance and availability. Hospitals are places where patients, doctors and visitors move constantly between different floors. Many patients are seriously ill, injured or unable to walk, so elevators play a vital role in transporting them safely and quickly. Stretchers, wheelchairs and medical equipment can only be moved efficiently through elevators, making them essential for emergency care. If elevators are not working properly, it can cause serious problems. Delays in shifting patients may risk their lives and it becomes very difficult for elderly people and disabled individuals to move around.

Moreover, overcrowded or poorly maintained elevators can create discomfort and safety issues. Therefore, hospital management should ensure that elevators are always in good working condition. Regular maintenance, cleanliness and having backup systems in case of power failure are necessary steps to provide better healthcare services.
