The soaring temperature in Karachi is causing problems for people, particularly for children, old people and labourers. There is also acute water scarcity in various parts of the city, resulting in a lack of adequate drinking water.
Poor families have been hit the hardest since they cannot afford to buy water from tankers. It is high time that the relevant authorities step in and take necessary steps in this regard.
