PHC orders transfers & postings of judicial officers across KP

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has ordered transfers and postings of senior judicial officers across the province.

According to an official notification, as many as 46 District and Sessions Judges and six Additional District and Sessions Judges have been transferred.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Mubarak Zeb Khan has been transferred from Dera Ismail Khan, while Kaleem Arshad Khan has been posted as judge of Accountability Court-II in Peshawar, and Babar Ali Khan as judge of Accountability Court-IV.

Muhammad Tahir Aurangzeb has been appointed as judge of the Anti-Corruption Court in Peshawar, while Muhammad Asif Khan has been posted as an Anti-Corruption Judge in Abbottabad. Fazal Sattar has been assigned to the Consumer Court in Malakand and Rashida Bano to the Anti-Terrorism Court in Mardan.

Muhammad Adil Khan has been posted to Nowshera, Inamullah Wazir to Swabi, while the services of Muhammad Shahid have been placed at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy.

Meanwhile, Bakht Alam, Rahatullah and Amjad Hussain have been promoted to the rank of District and Sessions Judge (BPS-21).

The notification also listed several other District and Sessions Judges who have been transferred, including Muhammad Asif (II), Nasrullah Khan Gandapur, Syed Aqeel Shah, Ashfaq Taj, Sohail Shiraz Noor Sani, Muhammad Naseem, Muhammad Arshad, Ihsanullah Khan Mehsud, Fazal Sattar, Rashida Bano, Azhar Ali, Kulsoom Azam, Inamullah Wazir, Saadia Arshad, Muhammad Shoaib, Usman Wali, Ejaz Rashid, Ms Faryal Zia Mufti, Shaukat Ahmad Khan, Farzana Shahid, Ehteshamul Haq, Arbab Aziz Ahmad, Nadeem Muhammad, Syed Yasir Shabbir, Jamal Shah Mehsud, Muhammad Saeed, Shaukat Ali, Ziaul Haq, Rahatullah, Amjad Hussain, Muhammad Tahir Aurangzeb, Muhammad Khan, Iftikhar Elahi, Liaqat Ali, Kashif Dilawar, Muhammad Zeb Khan, Mian Mahmood, Ms Nusrat Naz, and Arbab Sohail Hamid.

Among Additional District and Sessions Judges, Ms Wadia Mushtaq Malik (Director Regulations), Muhammad Sajid, Abdul Qayyum Siddiqui, Rafiullah and Gul Nawaz were also included in the transfer and posting orders.
