DIR: A two-day career counselling workshop was organised at Mind Spark Language Academy, Upper Dir.
The workshop was jointly arranged by the Tehsil Administration Dir Upper and the District Youth Office (DYO), on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Naveed Akbar, to guide students in selecting appropriate career paths, creating awareness about educational and professional opportunities, and enabling them to make informed decisions for a successful future.
More than 80 students participated in the training sessions. Resource persons Ruhail Abbas and Madina Ikram delivered detailed lectures on various aspects of career planning and development.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Salman Hastam attended the concluding ceremony as the chief guest. He shared his professional experiences with the students and stressed the importance of such initiatives in helping youth choose the right career at the right time.
Academy Principal Zaryab Khan welcomed the guests and participants and appreciated the efforts of the organizers for arranging the workshop.
District Youth Officer Shehzad Tariq said similar workshops are being conducted across all tehsils of Upper Dir to provide better guidance to students and ensure a brighter future for the youth.
A question-and-answer session was also held, during which students interacted with the resource persons.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed among participants, while shields were presented to the chief guest, resource persons, and other distinguished guests.
