LAHORE: A college student went missing under mysterious circumstances in the Gulberg area, prompting police to register a kidnapping case and launch an investigation.
According to police, the case was registered at Gulberg police station on the complaint of the student’s brother, Saeed. The FIR states that the student had gone to her college to appear in an examination but did not return home. The complainant maintained that his sister took the exam and was last seen at the college, after which she went missing on her way back.
Expressing concern, the brother suspected that his sister may have been abducted and appealed for her recovery. Police officials said an investigation has been initiated, and CCTV footage from various points is being collected. They said all available resources are being used to trace the missing student and ensure her safe recovery.
