TAKHTBAHI: A man on Friday allegedly opened fire on his own mother and sister Latifabad Colony, killing both before fleeing the scene, police officials said.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed with Shergarh Police Station by the victim’s son and the suspect’s brother, the incident took place late at night when the family was asleep in their home in Latifabad Colony, Kotgarh.
The complainant, identified as Hazrat Isa son of Hazrat Syed, stated that he and his family were awakened by the sound of gunfire. When he turned on the light, he reportedly saw his brother, Hazrat Musa, holding a pistol while their mother (name withheld) and sister (name withheld) lay injured in a pool of blood.
