KARACHI: Tecno Mobile has launched the Camon 50 Ultra 5G smartphone in Pakistan, adding to its mid- to high-end device portfolio as competition intensifies in the country’s 5G-ready handset segment, announced a statement on Friday.
The device is powered by a 5G-capable chipset and offers up to 24GB of extended RAM, aimed at supporting multitasking and data-heavy applications. The handset features a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also includes a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus. Software-based features include zoom and motion capture enhancements.
The phone is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.
Tecno said the device integrates artificial intelligence-based tools for imaging and productivity functions.The Camon 50 Ultra 5G is priced at Rs119,999 and is available through the company’s retail channels in Pakistan.
