KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), is set to jointly organise the ‘AgriFood: Global Investment and Partnership Conference & Expo’ on May 14, 2026.

According to a statement, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh said the initiative reflects a shared commitment to promote investment, strengthen international partnerships and unlock the potential of Pakistan’s agriculture and agri-based industries. He said the FPCCI fully supports the collaboration with the ICCD and remains committed to facilitating meaningful engagement between local and international stakeholders in the agri-food sector.

The FPCCI chief added that the event will serve as a platform to enhance trade linkages, attract investment and showcase Pakistan’s agricultural potential, a cornerstone of the national economy.

He assured full cooperation for the successful organisation of the event, continuing the FPCCI’s tradition of collaboration with the ICCD. Representatives from agriculture chambers across all provinces, along with leaders of key sectoral associations — including pesticides, fertiliser (urea), seeds, allied industries and academia — are expected to participate. Prominent chambers of commerce and industry are also likely to attend, he added.
