The emergence of artificial intelligence has revolutionised the way we study and teach, allowing for personalised learning. Learning with artificial intelligence is easier and faster. The development of various AI tools makes information more democratic and accessible to everyone with internet. Once, it took hours to find any query, but now AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini provide answers and information in seconds. Unlike search engines, which provide information from different websites, AI tools collect data from multiple sites and make it available on a single platform, reducing time and effort.
However, although AI tools make learning easy, fast and personalised, it also has some drawbacks. Relying too much on AI tools reduces critical thinking and harms human intelligence. AI-enabled plagiarism is also a concern. To use AI effectively in education, a human-centred approach is needed. Using AI in ways that involve human intelligence can be productive.
