LAHORE: Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) reviews progress on revenue targets from the services sector.
During a meeting, a detailed comparative analysis of the assigned tax targets and actual collections for the current financial year was presented. PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal directed that enforcement actions against defaulters be further intensified and made more effective.
He emphasised strict monitoring of those involved in tax evasion and called for the expansion of intelligence-based operations.
Field formations were instructed to enhance tax collection through digitalisation, e-filing and effective utilisation of databases. The chairman reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to promoting tax culture and accelerating public awareness campaigns on a cashless economy.
